Sylvain Bzikot's grandfather emigrated from Poland to Puligny-Montrachet before World War II, laying the foundation for the family's 15-hectare estate. Initially selling grapes to négociants, Sylvain began bottling under the family name in the 1990s, focusing on quality and terroir expression.
The estate's vineyards include esteemed sites in Puligny-Montrachet and premier crus like Les Perrières and Les Folatières, planted on limestone-rich soils. These terroirs impart a distinct minerality and elegance to the wines, characteristic of the region.
Bzikot's winemaking philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention, with careful fermentation and aging to highlight the purity of Chardonnay. The resulting wines are noted for their balance, complexity, and reflection of Puligny-Montrachet's unique terroir.
