In 1991, François Lumpp established his own domaine in Givry, focusing on premier cru sites and utilizing sélection massale cuttings to propagate his vines. His commitment to quality and site expression has positioned the domaine as a benchmark in the Côte Chalonnaise.
Givry's vineyards are characterized by mid to upper slope positions with clay-limestone soils, providing an ideal environment for both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The region's temperate climate and varied exposures contribute to the wines' balance and complexity.
