Château Langoa Barton, a Third Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, has been family-owned by the Bartons since 1821. Known for its classic Saint-Julien style, the estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant wines that balance power with elegance and aging potential, embodying the heritage and tradition of Bordeaux’s Left Bank.
Situated in Saint-Julien, the estate benefits from a temperate maritime climate with consistent ripening conditions, ideal for Bordeaux varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The gravelly soils provide excellent drainage and contribute to the wines’ structure, aromatic complexity, and refined tannins. These terroirs are essential for creating balanced, long-lived Bordeaux blends.
