Moulin de Gassac is part of the renowned Mas de Daumas Gassac estate, founded in 1971 by Aimé and Véronique Guibert in the Gassac Valley of the Languedoc region. The estate gained international acclaim for its high-quality wines, often referred to as the "Lafite Rothschild of the Languedoc." Today, the estate is managed by the Guibert sons, who continue the family's legacy of producing wines that respect the terroir and emphasize quality.
Located in the Hérault department, the Gassac Valley benefits from a unique microclimate and diverse soils, including glacial sandstone similar to that found in Burgundy's Côte d'Or. This terroir, combined with the influence of the nearby Mediterranean Sea, creates ideal conditions for cultivating a wide range of grape varieties.
Moulin de Gassac wines are produced from carefully selected plots across the Languedoc region, showcasing the diversity and potential of the area's terroirs. The wines are crafted with a focus on balance, freshness, and expression of fruit, offering exceptional value and accessibility while maintaining the estate's commitment to quality.
