Located in the historic town of Aÿ, Champagne Deutz is nestled in one of the prime Pinot Noir terroirs of the Champagne region. The town's vineyards are classified as Grand Cru, indicating the exceptional quality of the grapes cultivated there. Aÿ's unique position along the Marne River provides a favorable microclimate, with chalky soils that contribute to the distinct minerality and finesse of the wines produced.
The terroir of Aÿ is characterized by its chalky subsoil, which offers excellent drainage and imparts a distinctive mineral quality to the grapes. Champagne Deutz sources its grapes from these esteemed vineyards, ensuring that each cuvée embodies the purity and elegance associated with the region.
