Château Marquis de Terme, established in the 18th century, is a distinguished Fourth Growth estate in the Margaux appellation. The Sénéclauze family, owners since 1935, have focused on enhancing the quality and reputation of their wines.
Located in the heart of Margaux on Bordeaux's Left Bank, the château benefits from a temperate maritime climate. The nearby Gironde estuary moderates temperatures, providing favorable conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The vineyard's deep gravel soils over clay-limestone subsoils offer excellent drainage and heat retention. These factors contribute to the production of elegant, aromatic wines with refined tannins, characteristic of the Margaux appellation.
