With a background in biodynamic practices, Curtat focuses on expressing the nuances of his vineyards through minimal intervention and precise winemaking.
Based in Saint-Joseph, the estate benefits from a continental climate with warm days and cool nights, fostering balance and aromatic complexity in Syrah and Marsanne.
The granite and schist soils provide excellent drainage and impart a mineral backbone to the wines. These terroirs produce vibrant, structured reds and textured whites that reflect their northern Rhône origins.
