Established in 1875 in Ladoix-Serrigny, Domaine Edmond Cornu & Fils has been a family-run estate for generations, with Pierre Cornu and his cousin Emmanuel Boireau currently overseeing operations. The domaine is known for producing classic red Burgundies that reflect the character of their terroirs.
The estate's 16 hectares of vineyards are spread across Ladoix, Chorey-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, and Savigny-lès-Beaune. These areas feature a mix of clay, limestone, and marl soils, which contribute to the structure and depth of the wines.
The varied terroirs, with their distinct soil compositions and exposures, allow for the production of wines that capture the essence of each site. The domaine's commitment to traditional viticulture and winemaking practices ensures that the wines authentically represent their origins.
