Clau de Nell, a biodynamic estate in Anjou, was revived by Anne-Claude Leflaive in 2008. The estate specializes in Cabernet Franc, Grolleau, and Chenin Blanc, producing wines that showcase the region’s unique varietals and a commitment to sustainable farming.
Situated in Anjou, the estate benefits from a temperate climate influenced by the Loire River, which helps maintain freshness and balance in the wines.
Clay and flint soils contribute minerality and vibrancy, while sandy layers add finesse, resulting in elegant wines with a clear expression of terroir.
