Under the leadership of Jean-Nicolas Méo since the 1980s, the estate has risen to prominence, known for producing wines of exceptional quality and finesse. Méo-Camuzet's history is notable for its connection to Henri Jayer, a legendary Burgundian winemaker who served as a consultant and mentor to the domaine.
The domaine's vineyards are primarily situated in the Côte de Nuits, the northern half of Burgundy's famous Côte d'Or. This region is renowned for producing some of the world's finest Pinot Noir wines.
