Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is a fifth-growth estate located in Pauillac, Bordeaux, with a rich history dating back to the 16th century. The estate gained prominence under the Lacoste family and continues to uphold its reputation for producing high-quality wines. Owned by the Borie family since 1978, Grand-Puy-Lacoste is celebrated for its classic Pauillac style: powerful yet refined, with excellent aging potential.
Situated in the heart of Pauillac, the region’s proximity to the Gironde estuary creates an ideal microclimate for vine cultivation. Gravelly soils and consistent maritime influences define the terroir, ensuring optimal drainage and temperature moderation.
